CRAZY-pet lady

As if 4 goldfish, 1 beta fish, 1 hamster, and 1 chinchilla wasn't enough..... ohhh yeah!!

I couldn't HELP myself.. it was sooooo cute, and fluffyyyy, and sweet!!
*sigh*
Don't judge me, if you had seen that face staring back at you from the adoption window you would have done the same thing!

At this time of night, those are all the excuses I can come up with. Yes, I, the person who has claimed to loathe, despise, and hate cats with an undying passion, has succumbed to the madness, of yet another addition.

New Addition to the Family

This last week, My sister texted me about a new pet some friends of ours were trying to get rid of. After a couple days of talking, I found myself taking home an adorable chinchilla.
My mother refered to him as a rat

My Roommates refer to him as Mister Fluffy

Me... I like to call him Chuck

I Feel...

There are a lot of things I could say right now.
A lot of things I want to say.
But none of it is really that important.
Right now
This very moment
 I guess I'm just.....

Fresh Start EVENT 1

Well, I suppose I have to start somewhere. So much has happened, the last few months, and honestly, I have barely been able to catch my breath. I have been so up and down lately, in all honesty, I've had more downs then ups, but I've finally come to a place where, I can put a lot of stuff behind me, and move forward, but before I continue moving, I NEED to just stand still, and regain some sense of normal. What better way to do that, then to attempt to continue blogging.

FIRST EVENT:
I'm going to begin in May, since that seems to be when everything really started up again. I have been going back and forth in regards to going back to school or not for awhile, now. Frankly, after all the stuff that happened in HS, I'm not ready. I need some semblance of normal, first. So, since I'm not going to school, I decided, with my parents blessing, it was time for me to move out on my own. The apt. isn't big, but the independence, and growth has been tremendous.

Yes, I did manage to fit all my stuff in those few boxes.
My friend Sam came down to MPLS to help me move :D
I moved in with my friend, June 1st, into a cute 2 bedroom 1 bath. We got all my stuff in and organized quickly. We immediately bonded, now as roommates, with our love for a clean environment(no comment from my mother :P ) We both have used cleaning as a De-stresser, and firmly believe there is a place for everything, and everything must be in its place, to an almost OCD level. We are probably the cleanest college aged kids you will ever meet. I wish you could all see our cupboards, She has all of our spices alphabetized!! :D
 My roommate and I
My guy friend, who I met through School of Urban Ministry, will be moving down to MPLS, begining of Sept, and rooming with My roommates BF. I was able to set that up, right after i moved in.

So, even though my roommate and I get along great, we both have had SO many issues to work on. We are both so strong willed, and stubborn as mules. We also like to solve our problems with out getting others involved, or letting people help us, which turns into a volcanic explosion of emotions. It doesn't help that we both are on the same time table each month, so even when we are crazy, there is no normal person to keep the peace.
Despite the frustrations that go with that, I think we have both grown a lot in just the last three months. Yes sometimes we get upset, but we've learned to sit down and talk it through. And we are learning to talk about out issues EARLY so they don't turn into big deals and grudges later on. We both mean well, but we both think we are right, I of course am right! ;P
Then to top off the craziness, this last month, we had another girl, one of my long time friends, move in with us, she and I are sharing the smaller room, since I'm hardly home, due to work, and she needed a place to sleep at night. She's actually getting married this coming June. She had quite the way of telling me I'm her maid of honor.
She hands me a stack of magazines, and tells me, that as her maid of honor, I have to help her go through them.
The newest addition to the craziness

She and I are also Work out buddies, so if working 64 hours a week, plus volunteering 20+ hours a week wasnt enough, I'm also getting up at 5am to work out to INSANITY, Right now, I'm on day 4, and I hurt, but it sure feels good. I'm awake, and enjoying the full day right now.

I have to interject and mention, that I'm in such a good mood atm, my room mates just left, one to the DVR, another to do laundry at her dads, and I'm dancing to whatever is playing on my computer(because no one is here to laugh and tell me to stop), and making faces at myself in the mirror(honestly I don't know why I'm doing that), while finishing up an AMAZING smoothie!! :)

So that concludes the first major event, in a round about way. I have to now go do the math, and figure out how much each of us owe for electric and Internet. On a plus side, I just found out I got $120 credited to my rent acct. , Which is already super cheap, with all 3 of us living here, because apparently, we have over payed the last few months... Talk about a SWEEEET deal!
