SLOW DOWN!!!

Well today has been a good fathers day. Breakfast with Adam, Went to church, My family(Dad, Mom, Adam, Myself, Kierra, and Kyle) went out to eat at Tony Romas, We went shopping at the MOA for a few hours, and Then Adam and I went to the dog park with Max, in the rain =D. This should all add up to an Amazing day. But of course I'm leaving out one tiny detail *laughing*

I went to church this morning and my mom had told me to bring a pair of jeans, and Tennies to change into when we left for the mall, so I wouldnt have to walk around in my skirt and heels(wise mother), Well I was running a bit late, so I grabbed my only pair of clean jeans, tennies, and socks, and rushed out the door so Adam and I could go eat. Great breakfast, Good morning, Good service, Beautiful music, Wonderful friends, then it was time to leave for the mall. I went to the bathroom and I threw on my jeans and was about to head back out when I looked in the mirror...... I had accidently grabbed my jeans which had a hole from about mid thigh up. oops =D

I ended up wearing my skirt over my jeans, but let this be a warning to everyone when grabbing clothes, slow down and look them over to make sure you actually grab the right clothing =D

Well the enthusiasm of summer has now warn off and I'm happy, tired, sad, and excited. How is this possible? Well, I'm obviously happy school is out(who isn't?) I'm tired from lack of sleep(too many late nighters with friends =D) I'm sad because my brother Adam is moving to Florida(He's my best friend I've already cried twice, and i hate crying!!) and I'm excited to get Love in Action going =D

School was ok, but I didnt like doing the online stuff. I'm going to public school(any school, but Jefferson, and I'd prefer a school where no one knows me, but I'll take anything but Jefferson) Because I think I'll do better! actually I know I'll do better.

Lack of sleep is blamed on friends and whatever else I can blame =D Last night I was up late helping Kierra and Linnea Choreograph a dance to a song, that was alot of fun, except staying up late....

ADAM IS MOVING TO FLORIDA!!!!! D= D= D= D= D= I am going to miss him soooo much, Hes been a big brother for the last almost 5 years. We've become best friends and his moving to Florida has been really hard. The other day we hung out, went to all our favorite place before he leaves this weekend.... Starbucks, Normandale Lake(and walked Max, and had a hat war LOL), Frisbee Golfing, Went to the Beach, Noodles and company, Movies, and then played some golf game at Champs(that was different but fun =D) Then this Saturday, Adam, Kierra, and I are heading to Valley Fair for the day. One thing I'm going to miss when Adam leaves is we never really had a plan when we hung out. We could walk around, with our coffee ;) for hours and talk, Adam knows everything about me and I know everything about him, and I'm going to miss just calling echother up and saying A-"Are you busy?" K-"No. Are you?" A-"No, Wanna hang out?" K-"Sure." /A-"Ok I'll pick you up in 5." LOL.. I know we can call but its not the same.....

LOVE IN ACTION will be startin tomorrow Friday 19th from 1-4 we'll be having our "Talent show" I guess... People will have 10 minutes to show us there talents =D I have heard alot of creativity. I'm soo excited to get this going!!! Then it will be every Thursday starting the 9th from 6-10pm at the church I think, but we'll see... if nothing else we can find a park to practice at LOL that could be really fun =D So yeah thats whats been going on...

SCHOOL IS OUT!!

So school is done for the year, and despite a very rough year, I passed all my main classes. I stayed up 44 hours to pass =D I was very happy. So Now that the torcherous school is done I shall begin looking forward to my Jaw surgery, That will be fun. umm yeah I really dont know what to say here. I'm completely out of it, and need sleep. BTW. If you havent seen the movie Jumper, then you are missing out!!

Far out man......

I went to the Bella Madre Festival, and besides coming home smelling like an ashtray(still trying to get that smell out of my hair btw) I had an Psychadelic time!! The people were awesome, and the music was beautiful. You could really feel the peace and love man. It was groovy, in a far out way (ok I'm done with the crazy hippy sayings).

I got there Saturday at 1am and immedeatly I was hit with the shocking smell of weed, smoke, and alcohol, not a pretty combinaton. People were up, ad walking around blaring music, and shouting, it was a very unpeaceful enviornment. How people got sleep I will never know. But with in those first few minutes of walking through the gates it was very clear that this was all just a mask to hide behind. Behind there happy faces, they were very depressed people, looking to fill avoid that was only meant to be filled by one thing, A relationship with Christ. My heart was broken for these people who were so kind, but so lost. I was there less than a day and I felt accepted, something many people only dream of, and I knew despite all there love and acceptance they were lost people.

While I was there we did many things, from going around tent to tent and talking to people, to setting up a 24/7 Prayer Station, to Making fre meals for anyone who was hungery. I was put in charge of the free massages(We set up a free 5-10 minute massage table) and I did that through out the weekend. Before I began I always asked them If I could pray over them, I wasnt told no once. As I gave massages either Wade, or Merideth would be talking to the people waiting in line(yes we had lines) and they saw what we were doing and of course they wondered why we did what we did and so many doors were opened. People would come up to us and tell us "You guys are really changing the atmosphere around here. Its not so downcast." We were doing what Jesus did. Not partaking in the sinful nature, but minstering, and hanging out with those who were lost, and creating a safe place for them to talk, and hang out. We became a landmark. If you asked anyone there where the Prayer Station was they would have known. We planted many seeds, and we saw quite a few people commit there lives to Christ.

And on a side note, I did end up getting high completly by mistake. There was one spot where people were heavily smoking weed, and I breathed in the smoke, and I will NEVER understand why people would want to feel that way for fun... That was anything, but fun!!
