to miss or not to miss

Oh what crazy things shall occur during this time of relaxation and rest.

My parents are scheduled to return from their vacation with out us kids any moment, and I am extremely happy, yet unready for them to come home. Maybe its just because I'm a teenager and am enjoying this short period of independence a tad too much , but I am earnestly enjoying the peace and quite, with Kyle at grandmas, and Kierra off in her own world, the only person I need to be responsible for is me. Makes me think of life at college, a mere year away.
But along with this, I also find myself missing them. My dads random jokes, and my mom castigating him for bugging is kids, and then my dad laughing at her because he was TRYING to provoke her.

I hope its not bad to kinda not miss them, and yet miss them at the same time....

And then the Fight Started...

These are Jokes that were much to amazing not to be passed on =D

******************************************

I rear-ended a car this morning. So, there we were alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car. You know how sometimes you just get soooo stressed and little things just seem funny? Yeah, well I couldn't believe it.... He was a DWARF!!!

He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted, "I AM NOT HAPPY!!!"

So, I looked down at him and said, "Well, then which one are you?"

And then the fight started.....

*****************************************

My wife was hinting about what she wanted for our upcoming anniversary.
She said, 'I want something shiny that goes from 0 to 150 in about 3 seconds.'

I bought her a scale.

And then the fight started...

******************************************

When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her someplace expensive...
so, I took her to a gas station.

And then the fight started...

******************************************

My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table.

My wife asked, 'Do you know her?'

'Yes,' I sighed, 'She's my old girlfriend. I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since.'

'My God!' says my wife, 'who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?'

And then the fight started...

******************************************

I took my wife to a restaurant. The waiter, for some reason, took my order first.
"I'll have the strip steak, medium rare, please."
He said, "Aren't you worried about the mad cow?"
"Nah, she can order for herself."

And then the fight started...

Favorite Quotes

"Beauty with out intelligence is like a masterpiece drawn on a napkin"-unknown

I think this has become one of my favorite quotes, among many, as of late. I think its because the point is so simple, but so often ignored. People get so into looks, and trying to mimic Hollywood that they forget that beauty won't last, and then whats left? After you have spent thousands of dollars on things that go out of style, wear, tear, and fade, whats left over? Eventually everything you worked so hard on, so you can get the perfect look is gone. I can barely remember what I had for breakfast this morning let alone what my friends wore last week. This is just my thoughts on it. Here are a few more quotes I really like. =)

"Everything is possible with me, even the impossible."-Kelly

"my definition of a best friend: someone you can have the most random and most serious and most privet, and perverted conversations with on the most unique and most awkward subjects without it being a tad bit awkward"-Roman

"There's no excuse not to dream" -Anthony

"Defeat is not the worst of failures. To not of tried is the true failure"-George Edward Woodberry

"Courage is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to overcome your fear."- Shawn Morrison

"Anyone who thinks the art of conversation is dead ought to tell a child to go to bed."-unknown

"If we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?" -Mother Theresa

Behind the Lies

B=
The words I write just don't make sense
A pattern struck forbidden mess
To weave these wicked webs by day
By night to know your love no less

Time it passes swift with fear
Another hour slow draw near
False reminder hope unfound
Darkened days will soon be crowned

People pass with downward eyes
Inner demons screaming lies
"Worthless scum of sick decent
Bow down to me your will is bent

Self harm and spew, you wicked whore
Look at me, your darkened lord
What seemed to you beauty find
I twist and turn, control your mind"

Standing here this twist of fate
Freedom said were chains of hate
Death, destruction, web of lies
In pretty wrapping, rainbow ties

Pretty faces tell this tale
Of broken hearts a darkened veil
Tears she cried as streaks rundown
Wear depression as a gown

But hearts of stone none can see
Everybody here is free
Despite the fact I'm not on task
Soon all you see is my mask

C.K.A.-(Computer Killers Anonymous)

"Hi...... I'm Kelly.... and I'm a Computer Killer."
So, this month has been crazy, And then to add to the craziness I killed my computer. Ahhh A world with out technology is a simpler one. I found myself with more time to spend with friends and family. Who would have thought such a simple game of sardines could prove to be such fun when played at the Mall of America. xP

So here's the story. I killed my computer a few weeks ago, and of course My communication with friends was cut off as well. I was not very happy about this turn of events, but I wasn't in a hurry to fix my computer, I figured it was a lost cause like all my computers before. So after a few weeks I was discussing my computer problems with a friend and He told me he could fix it. Now at first glance he does not look like anybody who would be into fixing computers and such, so the fact that he said that shocked me, and I chuckled telling him yeah right, he was insistent that he could do it, finally he said "I'll bet you $20 I can fix your computer." I raised my eyebrow at him and finally said laughing, "Ok. it cant hurt to try." So I gave him my comp, and that evening I got a call. "You owe me $20" >.<

Well I got my computer back on Thursday morning, since I needed it for my first hour class. I didn't open it to see if it worked, I just took his word for it, thanked him and gave him his, or rather MY, $20. lol.. First hour came, and I had my jump drive hooked up to my computer so I could open up the necessary files to finish up working on my PPT. Presentation. Thus my teacher is standing over my shoulder so I could show her what I had done. I open the computer, and I first notice how clean it is, that should have been a warning sign right there that something was going to be amiss. Next I noticed a smiley sticker by my webcam, a Roman signature. I press the power button, and the computer purrs to life, a welcoming sound. Until I saw my log-in Icon..... A Cat! I nearly died of laughter, because he knows how much I hate cats, and still chose to make it my icon, which I have yet to change even now. I figured that was the end of my trouble, and that everything else would be fine. But then My computer turns on, and I see this...........

My New background.... HAHAHA Roman. What would I do without my awesome friends!?!?

Like Children

Kyle-"*GASP* KELLY SAID THE "S" WORD!!!"

Kelly-"What?!?! No I did not what are you talking about"

Kyle- "You said Shut-up"

Kierra-"LOL, I thought he meant the other "S" word, good thing he doesnt know that LOL"

Kyle- "YES I DO!!! It's Stupid!!!"

Innocence is such an amazing thing in young children, from the belief of Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy, to the belief that Tv shows are real. I know I have been blogging on things Kyle has said a lot lately, but I love his perspective on things. Life seems so easy through a 5 year olds eyes. When I hear Kyle talk, and how he thinks, I can see why Jesus said that we need to be like Children.
